Brecko nach Alkofahrt bestraft

Nach der Karnevalsfeier des FC hatte der Slowene sein Auto in ein Gleisbett der Kölner Verkehrsbetriebe gesetzt - zum Glück wurde niemand verletzt. Brecko saß in den letzten beiden Runden bereits eine Rot-Sperre ab. Nun ist sein Einsatz im wichtigen Spiel gegen den 1. FC Nürnberg am Samstag fraglich.
Geldstrafe
Wegen "unprofessionellen Verhaltens in der Öffentlichkeit und wegen der Verletzung seiner Vorbildfunktion als Spieler des 1. FC Köln" verriet eine Pressemitteilung der "Geißböcke". Laut Informationen des Kickers handelt es hierbei um eine Geldstrafe, welche Verteidiger bereits akzeptiert hatte. Darüber hinaus hat er sich auch schon für sein Fehlverhalten entschuldigt.
Im Herbst hatte Klubkollege Lukas Podolski einen Autounfall mit Personenschaden verursacht, Konsequenzen blieben aus. Auch wenn Brecko niemanden verletzt hat, ist eine Fahrt unter Alkoholeinfluss alles andere als vorbildhaft.
